To all of us at La Fratellanza, a cigar has always been more than just a smoke. It’s an experience. And a multi-sensory one. The look and feel of a beautifully-constructed cigar. The wonderful smells. The complex flavors.
Most importantly, we believe the experience of enjoying a good cigar is one that should be shared. La Fratellanza is Italian for “The Brotherhood.” The cigar experience is one of family – blood or chosen, men or women. It’s friendship. It’s camaraderie. It’s about spending time with the people that are important to you.
It’s getting together and relaxing for a while. Spending some time talking, and listening. Catching up with an old friend, or getting to know a new one. Celebrating a victory, or commiserating over a loss. But mostly, just being together.

Toro - L'edizione Inaugurale
Our L'edizione Inaugurale (Inaugural Edition) cigar is a Toro (6.0 x 52 ring gauge) with the unique shape of a figurado. The label is a nod to Saint Francis of Assisi, the Italian friar who founded the Franciscan brotherhood, for his belief that not only all men and women, but all the world’s creatures were his brothers and sisters.
